For over 60 years, Masjid Al-Islam has been a Beacon of Light in Dallas–Fort Worth.
When there were no masajid in the area, Masjid Al-Islam was there, welcoming worshippers, nurturing families, educating youth, and serving the wider community with compassion and dignity.
Rooted in the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah, Masjid Al-Islam has long been more than a place of prayer. It has been a place of guidance, unity, service, and belonging.
Generations have grown here.
Faith has been strengthened here.
The community has been built here.
And as the community has grown, so have its needs.
Today, that legacy continues with the construction of a new 18,000 sq. ft. masjid and community center, thoughtfully designed to serve 1,000+ worshippers and expand the spaces needed for learning, youth, and community life, for generations to come.
Every masjid needs more than walls and space.
Especially in Ramadan, when nights are filled with prayer and hearts turn to Allah, a masjid must be ready to serve the community.
Before taraweeh can be held…
Before classes can begin…
Before the youth can gather…
Before iftar can served…
The masjid must be powered!
This is why we are raising funds for Phase 1: Utilities & Power Infrastructure, the essential work that brings the masjid to life.
To complete Phase 1, we are calling on:
2,250 believers to give $100 each
This group is called the Beacon Circle: a collective of supporters helping turn the lights on for Masjid Al-Islam.
Each $100 gift helps fund the utilities and power systems that allow everything else to exist.
One foundation. One community. One shared legacy.
In Ramadan, when rewards are multiplied, supporting a masjid becomes a form of sadaqah that continues long after the month ends.
• Every prayer prayed within its walls
• Every child who learns Qur’an and deen
• Every youth program that nurtures faith and confidence
• Every gathering that strengthens community bonds
• Every du‘a made in the House of Allah
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever builds a masjid for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Jannah.” (Bukhari & Muslim)
Inspired by the spirit of the Prophet’s ﷺ community in Madinah, we support registered non-profits in raising funds that drive global impact.
Together, we’ve helped raise over $10 million for initiatives such as building masajid, supporting Islamic education and centers, and delivering crisis relief to families around the world.
